Supt Hancock was my grandfather. I have his warrant card from the 1940’s.
I am almost certain that centre of the picture with the moustache is my Gramp Sergeant Arthur George James Foster (known as Jim)? My Mum was the youngest of his four daughters. I do know he was posted to Stonehouse, Brinscombe and Moreton in Marsh during his career as a police officer. My own father (his son-in -law) David James Bullock also served in the Glos constabulary and retired as a sergeant. My daughter is also a serving police sergeant, but with Thames Valley now after transferring from the Met.
Just to clarify , Steve Wickham is on the extreme left of the Pensioners Dinner. Sorry for the confusion.
On the extreme left of the pensioners photo is Steve WICKHAM., ex mounted section, coroners officer and founder of the Glos NARPO .
