Gloucestershire Centenary of Women Police Officers

In 1918, Gloucestershire Constabulary appointed women to serve as police officers for the first time.

Since then much has changed including of course the appointment of a female Chief Constable.

Next year, we want to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of women policing our county by including your memories.

• Are you related to one of the first women officers?

• Is there a particular female officer you remember – and why?
