  • Charles Coldicott

    Charles Coldicott

A postcard and a photograph that were bought on a shopping site were donated to the archives and started a voyage of discovery. We found out that Charles Coldicott had joined the Constabulary in 1906 and then gone off to fight in World War one returning to rejoin the Police in 1919. His personnel file was found in Stroud Police Station and some of the documents from it appear on this page.
