Logged as 1946 but this would probably be between 1950 and 1952. Sergeant Dobbs retired from Filton in 1952. Woman Police Constable Brimble, far left, joined the constabulary in 1947. Open collar tunics were summer wear for Sergeants and Police Constables between 1950 and 1954 when they became full time wear.(Gloucestershire Police Archives URN 10473)
